BI-LO was founded in 1964 by Frank Outlaw, with the vision of ‘low prices, high quality and excellent service.’ As a regional supermarket chain with 214 locations in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee and over 15,000 employees, Frank Outlaw’s vision for BI-LO is now a reality. BI-LO believes in the communities they serve and established the BI-LO Charity Classic over 27 years ago which resulted in BI-LO Charities being formed. Priority is given to organizations that fight hunger, address the needs of children, and provide educational opportunities for people of all ages.
