Sippin Safari
With proceeds benefiting the Greenville Zoo towards the Ed-zoo-cation Programs, this annual wine tasting fundraiser has become quite a hit in the Upstate. Money raised in past events have gone towards funding the travel of the giraffes, Walter and Autumn. Wine and food tasting stations are set up throughout the zoo showcasing BI-LO’s best wine, deli, and bakery vendors. This event is strictly 21 and for adults and ID must be shown at the gate for entry. Thank you again for making the 4th Annual Sippin’ Safari a record breaking year.
The 5th Annual Sippin’ Safari will be September 10, 2010 from 6pm to 10pm. Tickets will be on sale in BI-LO stores on August 11 for $30. Tickets at the gate are $40.
VIP Passes are $50 in advance and will not be sold at gate. VIP Passes grant you access to the event at 5:30pm to a special VIP area. Ticket orders must be placed over the phone by either calling 864-286-5895 or 864-437-4311. Limited amount available.
Designated Driver Tickets will be on sale in BI-LO stores on August 11 and at the gate for $15.
History
Sippin’ Safari started in 2006 in order to raise funds to transport the two new giraffes to the Greenville Zoo. Now that Walter and Autumn are living happily at the zoo, the proceeds from the event now go to Greenville Zoo’s Ed-zoo-cation programs.
